heating and A/C controls.  Well stocked kitchen with a few welcoming items; soft drinks, snacks,

coffee, condiments, spices & wine. Replenish only if you desire.  One month minimum requested.

This three-bedroom, two-bath home reflects a vacation theme; we hope that when you
return from work, you’ll feel far away! The sensation of the beach, water, a tropical feel,

with living room view of the pool. Relax on the private back patio off the kitchen.

 

The home features a fully furnished kitchen with a Jenn-Air downdraft stove, cheerful
living room with Persian rugs, a hand-made Honey Locust wood breakfast bar, and an
upstairs suite of three bedrooms, each nicely appointed with Queen beds and ceiling
fans for a quiet restful nights sleep. Enjoy Egyptian cotton sheets and oversized bath
towels. Two baths, up and down are modern and spacious with ceramic tile, plus there’s
a laundry room for your convenience. Washer/dryer, iron/board and First-aid kit included.


Close to shopping, grocery, restaurants, gym, hospital, universities, and attractions.

About Ken


Ken raised his two sons in Jackson and has been very involved in the community. He has served as Deacon at First Presbyterian church, and on the boards of; the Jackson Arts Council, Youthtown, United Way, and The Jackson Symphony Association. He served as president of the Jackson Symphony and is founder of the Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association, and the annual Starlight Symphony, which began in 1979.


Ken is a sales/marketing executive and lives close to the property. His interests are historic preservation, tourism, antiques, travel, cooking, gardening and real estate. He enjoys the Arts —visual and performing.


Ken is an Airbnb super host. He enjoys visiting the nearby dog park with his rescue.

Q.   How do we check availability and book a stay?

A.    Touch base with us personally, or check vacancies and book directly through Airbnb.  Each home has a link.


Q.   What about the neighborhood?

A.    Our homes are conveniently located in the area where we live — the Mid-town historic district called LANA (Lambuth
Area Neighborhood Association). This locale is a renaissance 
of activity near downtown with a $40M+ investment in health,retail, medical, education and apartment/home living. 


Q.   What's nearby?

A.    We are centrally located in the heart of Jackson, near University of Memphis - Lambuth campus, Union, Lane, and
Jackson State.  General 
Hospital is less than a mile. Several shopping areas are just a few minutes away. Restaurants and
grocery store within blocks. Tourist attractions and music everywhere!


Q.   After we book a home, what's next?

A.    Your space is freshly cleaned and awaits your arrival. Your key is in the lockbox - we'll send you the code before you get here.   


Q.   Will my home have everything we need?

A.   Absolutely. Kitchens are furnished wtih utensils, dishes, pots & pans, cooking equipment, microwave and everything you would have at home.  Enjoy comfortable queen beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, and plenty of linens. There are local television and WiFi, washer/dryer with iron and board.  First Aid kit, initial supply of soap, paper goods, and laundry detergent.  If there is something you are missing, just let us know.


Q.   What is there to do in Jackson?

A.   Plenty, actually. What are your interests? History, sports, entertainment, dining, music, nature or the outdoors  — all are available depending on the season. You'll find a welcome guide when you arrive with several suggestions of ways to spend your time or day off. Local restaurants are listed by proximity and cuisine, plus a list of those who deliver. Attractions are grouped by type with suggestions of which to see first.
